Leondoro Rosso in Luce Argento

Leondoro is the first probable silver born and bred in Italy. It is very difficult to see the silver color on young red and cream Birmans: To be sure it's better to wait at least one year of age. That's why we prefer to avoid the mistake to declare him a sure silver too soon.

We do not even know for sure if he is a tabby point or a solid, but red and creams birman often mislead also on this, especially if "faded" by the silver color...!

By the way, if we do not make up our mind soon we will have Leondoro tested to see at least if he is a tabby or not.

His color, thus, is still a mystery... Come back and you will discover it with us. My silver contacts confirm he could be a silver so maybe we do point in the right direction...

Sinche he (maybe) is the first Italian silver, we had to keep him!!!

His beauty enchanted us from the start, as well as his incredibly violet eyes. He now lives at my mum's with a crazy ferret named Tequila and a Saluki greyhound tall like a horse. They run madly along the endless hallway, all together. That's probably why Leondoro's gloves are alway dirty...

Leondoro is co-owned by my dear friend Nadia Toffanello (http://www.felinadia.it/) who is involved in the introduction and selection of silver in Italy. Leondoro will soon be mated to one of her many girls as well as my pin ups Lunadea e Lillipuzia.
